It's like they gathered up the city
Originally from said book of faces: I was suddenly reminded of the Chronicles of Narnia today. By the way, this triggered memories of rage... So beware capslock abuse and ranting. The worst moment in the series is in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader when the main characters' so far completely unlikeable cousin gets turned into a dragon through his own greed AND THEN CRIES ABOUT IT UNTIL HIS TEARS SOMEHOW CHANGE HIM BACK. We're supposed to learn a moral about sharing or something and the virtue of honest repentance. My response was something more like "Look, you're a FUCKING DRAGON. Stop sniveling like you always do and go actually contribute to the dangerous adventure you're on. You know, it'd be a lot easier as a giant armored flying reptile that breathes fire than a useless little kid with no special skills or abilities. At that age I'd have killed to be a dragon." I don't curse that often, but this calls for it. You would not believe how much I hated that kid. That last line reminded me, I think his name was Eustace, because I always called him Useless and I believe that was a pun.
